Then the account becomes Free on its own: the same features, plus about 210 replies and 30 minutes of voice every month from then on. Nothing that was advertised is taken away, no card is asked for, there is no gap in between, and nothing you wrote is deleted.

Free is not a reduced version of what you tried. It is the same product with a monthly allowance instead of a one-off one, and more spaces and more voice than the trial had.

No. Plans change the amount of included AI usage, not which product features you can reach. There is no capability on this site that a free account cannot use.

No. The balance is per calendar month and refills on the 1st of the month rather than on the day you signed up; whatever is left is not carried forward. Nothing is lost that you paid for separately — the included usage is part of the plan price rather than a purchase of its own.

No. There is no overage, no top-up and no way for a month to cost more than the plan does: when the balance reaches zero, model-backed features pause until it resets rather than continuing and billing you. A surprise invoice for a month of hard conversations is not a thing this product will ever send you.

No. On a plan, each person’s balance is their own and is spent by their own use — there is no transfer, no gifting, and no way to see how much of theirs somebody else has left. On a shared plan that is the whole point: two allowances rather than one pool, so nobody is rationing against the other person and nobody can tell how much the other person has been using it. The free trial is the one exception and is deliberately the other way round — one pool of guided responses between the two of you, because what it is demonstrating is the shared workflow.

Cancelling stops the next renewal. Access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for, and then the account returns to the free plan — it is not closed and nothing you wrote is deleted. On a shared plan the same is true for both people: the plan covers them until the period ends, and both keep their accounts afterwards.

Because every reply is a request to a model provider that bills us for it, by the amount of text going in and coming back, and every voice note is a transcription that bills us by the second. Those are real invoices that scale with how much you use the product. A product that pretends otherwise either collapses or starts making its money somewhere you would like less.

Because a conversation is not a fixed size. What is metered is the text that actually goes to the model and comes back — your recent context, the message, the reply. The estimate is built from a typical exchange and rounded off to the nearest five or ten, so treat it as the order of magnitude rather than as a floor.

When a month's included AI is used up, the parts that call a model pause until the allowance refills on the 1st of the month. Everything else keeps working — writing, check-ins, your history, your spaces, sharing, export, deletion, and every safety feature. Nothing is ever charged on top, and nothing accrues to be charged later.

The app says so with the date rather than failing, and the billing screen shows how much is left before you get there.

Together is one subscription for 2 people in a shared space. The allowance is per person rather than a pot they share: about 2050 replies and 2 hours of voice each, about 4100 replies between them. Nobody is spending out of the other person's, and nobody can see how much the other person has left. Every other plan covers one account.

It buys seats rather than a shared balance. Pooling would mean one of you could spend the other’s allowance, and that each of you could see how much the other had used — which in a product two people share is the wrong trade in both directions.

Everyone can still be in it, and everyone keeps every feature — that does not change. What a shared plan buys is a larger AI allowance for the number of people it says it covers, oldest members of the space first; anybody beyond that stays on the free allowance until they choose a plan of their own. We will not sell you a shared plan for a space it is too small for, and the app says so rather than taking the money.

No. Inviting someone, sharing a space, Independent Perspectives, joint sessions, de-escalation and shared goals all work on the free plan for both people. The paid plan buys a larger allowance, never access to the other person.
